Ariela Frieder, MD

Dr. Ariela Frieder a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in women’s mental health. Her background includes a residency in OBGYN in Argentina and a residency in Adult Psychiatry and a Fellowship in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. Initially, after graduation Dr. Frieder worked at the Primary care and High Risk OBGYN clinic at Montefiore Medical Group. In 2015, Dr. Frieder left Montefiore to join Northwell Health where she worked as the Director of Psychiatry at LIJ Forest Hills Hospital and at Zucker Hillside Hospital perinatal program, where she transitioned to be the physician in charge. There, she had the opportunity to treat hundreds of women with complex psychiatric problems during the perinatal period. For the past 15 years, Dr. Frieder has also been teaching and supervising psychiatrists in training and medical students, and in addition, has had the opportunity to present in conferences and publish articles in the field of reproductive psychiatry.

Hallie Knopf, MD

Dr. Hallie Knopf is a board certified adult psychiatrist. She completed her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, as well as completed an adult psychiatry residency training program at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She integrates a collaborative and holistic approach to establish strong therapeutic relationships and help patients achieve their goals. Dr. Knopf has experience working with a wide variety of patient populations across different settings. She is particularly interested in issues related to women’s mental health, including perinatal mental health issues.
